American Girl® Contest Winner

American Girl® has just introduced a new doll, Rebecca Rubin from 1914 New York City. All summer a Rebecca doll sat near the American Girl® book display at Bank Square Books, and hundreds of girls entered their names to win her.

On September 15 Leon put all of the entry cards in a box, mixed them up, closed his eyes, and drew the winning card.

We are happy to report that our Rebecca doll has a new home with Maeve and Wendy Flanagan of Westerly, Rhode Island, who were all smiles when they came to receive their beautiful new American Girl®.
