Westerly Regional Arts Partnership (WRAP) and Live Cafe Productions present A Story Tell storytelling event at La Grua Center on Wednesday, November 15, at 6 p.m. In a Moth-style story slam, the amazing true stories will center around the theme of The One That Got Away. The purpose of this event is to promote the art of storytelling, communication and connection. To share our life experiences with others, to broaden our awareness of life outside of our own, and to entertain. Tickets for this event are $12 and will be donated to WRAP and La Grua Center. About Live Cafe Productions
From 2001 through 2015 Jason and Ali (Cruso) Lucas lived and worked in NYC, Jason as the Lighting Supervisor of The Juilliard School in Lincoln Center and Ali as a Lighting Designer and Production Electrician of various Off-Broadway productions including Fuerzabruta in Union Square, which ran for 8 years. In April 2016 Jason and Ali moved home with their new daughter Katherine Ann, and formed Live Cafe Productions. During that first summer Live Cafe produced a production of Love Letters at The United Theatre, featuring Ali’s grandparents Jane and Francis Gencarelli, and the first installment of A Story Tell: Falling, at the Savoy Bookshop and Cafe. Jason is now the Production Manager of The Garde Arts Center in New London. Ali has opened a ‘mobile boutique’ with long time best friend Kate Lamb Day; Curio Designs by Kate and Ali.
