Bank Square Books presents an open house book signing featuring Rick Stewart, the author of It's Just. This event is free and open to the public.

About the Book

Watching his son grow up with the social struggles that come with being on the autism spectrum, author Rick Stewart realized many things. Children with Asperger’s Syndrome don’t need or want to be fixed or changed, they simply want to be heard and understood. Being different isn't wrong… just different, and that is just fine.

About the Author

Rick Stewart lives in Connecticut where he has his own landscaping business. Raising four children he noticed that his youngest son was a little different than the others. Kyle was diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome at the age of six. Watching his struggles as he went to school and tried to make friends, inspired Rick to write It’s Just. Children with Asperger’s are smart, sensitive, witty, and funny in their own way. They are definitely quirky, but that is what is so unique and special about them. One thing he has learned is that they don’t want to be changed, just loved and accepted.
