SAVOY: South County Poets Charles Kell, Nate Vaccaro, and Elizabeteh Foulke Read Their Works

Savoy Bookshop & Café presents a reading and book signing highlighting three local poets: Charles Kell, Nate Vaccaro, and Elizabeth Foulke. This event is free and open to the public.

About the Poets

Charles Kell is the author of Cage of Lit Glass, chosen by Kimiko Hahn for the 2018 Autumn House Press Poetry Prize. He is Assistant Professor of English at the Community College of Rhode Island and associate editor of The Ocean State Review.

 

 

 

 

 

Nate Vaccaro is a fake 90s kid and recent college graduate currently living in Rhode Island. Their work focuses on internet culture, consumerism, and pop sensibilities. You can find them on Twitter and Instagram at natejvaccaro.

 

 

 

Elizabeth Foulke is a fifth year PhD student at the University of Rhode Island. She is the senior editor of The Ocean State Review. Her poetry and essays have appeared in Plainsongs, The Wayfarer, and Grub Street. Prior to entering a PhD program, Elizabeth taught English in urban public schools for twelve years where she shared her love of poetry and prose with her students.
